Volunteer Opportunities

The NSA experience would not be the same without our active and engaged community who champion the mission and vision of our school. We encourage parents, grandparents and friends to become involved in a variety of ways. If you are interested in connecting with other members of the Saints community in support of our school, please view the volunteer opportunities below.

  • All-School

    Alumni Council
    Alumni are needed to help stay in touch with classmates, assist with the phonathon and participate in alumni events. The time commitment varies depending on the responsibility you choose. Please contact the Alumni Coordinator, Jenna Mullen '11, for more information.

    Band Parents Association 
    Volunteers are needed to help in all areas of the Band Parent Association (example: concessions, Santa Breakfast, Spirit Shop, etc.). The time commitment varies depending on the responsibility you choose. Please contact the Band Director, Sarah Eubanks '11, for more information.

    General Office & School Mailings
    Volunteers are needed for general office work and school mailings in all school divisions. Experience with bulk mail is helpful, but not necessary. The time commitment varies depending on the responsibility you choose. Please contact the office manager in your child's division.

    Special Talents 
    Volunteers with special talents are encouraged to share them with the school. These could include assisting with classroom activities or school performances, reading stories for the Lower School students, assisting with lessons in the classroom, working with small groups of students or assisting with bulletin board projects. The time commitment varies depending on the responsibility you choose. Please contact the office manager in your child's division for more information.

    Lower School Book Fair (March) 
    Volunteers are needed to assist the library staff with set-up and sales during the Book Fair. The time commitment varies depending on the responsibility you choose. Please contact Terri Wright for more information.

    Lower School Becky Godwin Memorial Library
    Volunteers are needed to assist checking out, re-shelving and repairing books. The time commitment varies depending on the responsibility you choose. Please contact Terri Wright for more information.
  • Saints Spirit

    Saints Spirit is an exciting way for parents and students to show their spirit for NSA. Saints Spirit is responsible for planning several events each academic year, such as Saints Fest, Winter Fan Night and Show the Saints Love Week in addition to coordinating appreciation events for the teachers at various times throughout the school year. We invite you to show your spirit by volunteering to help with one of our events. 
  • Annual Art Show and Sale

    Volunteers are needed to assist with the following responsibilities: receiving artwork, hanging artwork, working the sponsors' and opening receptions, manning the sales desk and making or serving refreshments. The time commitment is very flexible and varies depending on the committee you choose. Please contact the Annual Fund Coordinator, Melissa Hlinovsky '02, for more information.
  • Art Jones Memorial Golf Tournament

    Volunteers are needed to assist with gathering items for the Silent Auction and the goodie bags, stuffing the  goodie bags, working the registration table, assisting with the cocktail party, overseeing a hole on the course during the tournament and assisting with other tournament activities.   • Fleur-de-E@uction

    Volunteers are needed to assist with collecting acquisitions and sponsorships. The time commitment varies depending on the responsibility you choose. Please contact the Annual Fund Coordinator, Melissa Hlinovsky '02, for more information.
  • Golden Saints Club

    Volunteers are needed to recruit Golden Saints Club members and sponsors and work at the socials for the Golden Saints Club. The time commitment will vary depending on the responsibility you choose. Please contact the Annual Fund Coordinator, Melissa Hlinovsky '02 for more information.
  • Homecoming

    Volunteers are needed to assist the Alumni Coordinator with Homecoming activities such as the Pre-game Alumni Social, Oyster Roast and Alumni Post-Game Party. The time commitment is usually only two to four hours. Please contact the Alumni Coordinator, Jenna Mullen '11, for more information.
  • Royal Saints Club

    Volunteers are needed to recruit Royal Saints Club members and sponsors and to work 
    at the Royal Saints Club socials. The time commitment varies depending on the responsibility you choose. Please contact the Annual Fund Coordinator, Melissa Hlinovsky '02, for more information.
