The hits keep coming

The story of Nansemond-Suffolk Academy’s road win against the Norfolk Collegiate School softball team on Wednesday was simple.

“Hits, hits and more hits,” NSA coach Brittany Wilkins said.

The Lady Saints generated 33 hits on their way to a 25-0 mercy rule-shortened conference victory over the Mighty Oaks.
“We played well,” Wilkins said. “Emerson Puzey was on the mound again.
