Saints produce 2-0 week on court

The Nansemond-Suffolk Academy boys’ basketball team made itself at home while on the road this past week, following up Tuesday’s win against Norfolk Christian School with a 62-51 victory over Southampton Academy on Friday. The Saints were led by freshman guard/forward Matthew Patterson, who had 18 points, while junior guard Tavon Askew added 14 and senior guard Logan Lokie added 12.
NSA led 16-9 after the first period, 31-23 at halftime and 44-40 after the third quarter before winning the fourth period 18-11. On Tuesday, Nansemond-Suffolk defeated Norfolk Christian 75-61.
