Tew plays the right way

Niqko Marshall, The Suffolk News-Herald
Robby Tew was voted Suffolk News-Herald Player of the Week after passing for four touchdowns and rushing for one in the Saints’ 63-14 win over Greenbrier Christian Academy. Playing quarterback is not an easy task. It comes with pressure, and some argue that it is the hardest position to play in sports. Tew, the senior quarterback for Nansemond-Suffolk Academy, tries to play the game the right way. He doesn’t want to let his teammates down.

“I never try to get too high or too low when I’m out there, so I just block out the noise,” he said. “When you win, you are the hero and everyone loves you, but when you lose it is pretty much the opposite.” To continue reading the article in The Suffolk News-Herald, please click here.
