Welcome to the NSA Upper School. This is a very special place to me, as it has played a huge role in my life, both as a student and as an educator. NSA is a community where each individual is valued and inspired to achieve their highest aspiration. NSA has been a guiding force during my lifetime, and I hope each of you will gain the same valuable experiences that I did during my school years as a Saint.
NSA was founded in 1966, adopting the school motto, “Honor Above All.” For more than fifty years, NSA has continued to fulfill its objective of educating honorable young people. Nansemond-Suffolk Academy’s programs place a strong emphasis on intellectual, social and physical growth, so that our graduates will take active roles in society.
I am extremely grateful to have the opportunity to work with your children. I will continue to pride myself with knowing every student by name, as well as always striving to do what’s best for each student. NSA is a special community made up of people who share a common vision for excellence, whether in the classroom, on the stage, in the community or on an athletic field. There will be papers to write, games to play, concerts to perform, friendships to be made, milestones to break and lessons to be learned. I hope that each student takes the time to learn and grow from each and every experience during the school year. With that being said, I look forward to a year full of accomplishments from our “Saints” family. Go Saints!
