The Hampton Roads Student Gallery is the premier regional high school art show for 11th and 12th grade students in Hampton Roads. Each year, fine arts teachers and administrators from public and private schools throughout the region collaborate with leaders and volunteers from museums and art centers to produce the Student Gallery.
A panel of knowledgeable art professionals are hired to act as unbiased jurors to review student artwork. These experts select six student finalists and 20 honorees whose work is displayed in art institutions in Hampton Roads, such as the Chrysler Museum of Art and the Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art.
Congratulations to Lily Bivins ’22, Carter Lydon ’21 and Tristan Williams ’21 for being selected as honorees! The Honoree Exhibition will be on display at the Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art from February 11 to February 28, and the Finalist Exhibition will be on display at the Chrysler Museum of Art from February 20 to April 4.
