Two Seniors Named to 2023 Suffolk Peanut Fest Court

Nia Castellow '24 and Emma Graves '24

Two NSA seniors are in the running for Suffolk Peanut Fest Queen.

Congratulations to Nia Castellow '24 and to Emma Graves '24 for being named Suffolk Peanut Fest princesses. The queen of the annual event will be crowned on Sept. 28 at the Hilton Garden Inn Suffolk Riverfront. You can find ticket information on the Peanut Fest's website.

The students chosen to be a part of this hometown tradition must be rising high school seniors at a school in Suffolk. Each candidate must submit a creative essay reflecting on the current festival theme, along with information about their academics, activities, awards, achievements and community involvement.

The theme for this year's Suffolk Peanut Fest is "Laissez les Bons Temps Rouler!" Translated, the Cajun French phrase means let the good times roll. The festival will be held Oct. 5 through Oct. 8 at the Suffolk Executive Airport.

Best of luck to Nia and Emma!
