Celebrating the Class of 2025

The 67 members of the Class of 2025 became Nansemond-Suffolk Academy's newest alumni on Friday, May 23.

"Nansemond-Suffolk Academy will always be your home," said Head of School Mike Barclay during his address to the Class of 2025. "No matter where you go after today, no matter what college you attend, what trade you pursue or where military service may take you, you have all called Suffolk your home Monday through Friday, many weekends and evenings for games, theater performances, and school commitments. This place has shaped you into the people you are today."

"Life will present you with moments of uncertainty—opportunities that feel just out of reach or slightly outside your comfort zone," said Head of Upper School Kim Aston '88, offering words of wisdom to the graduates. "Take them anyway. Audition for the role, pitch the idea, tryout for the team or start the project. Even if it doesn’t go perfectly, the act of trying shapes who you become. Courage opens doors that hesitation never will."
