40 Upper School Students Receive Recognition for Achievement on AP Exams

Congratulations to the more than three dozen Upper School students who earned national recognition from the College Board for their outstanding performance on multiple AP Exams during the 2025–2026 academic year!

Designed to measure students' mastery of college-level coursework, AP Exams provide an opportunity for students to demonstrate their knowledge in some of the most rigorous courses offered in high school. During the 2025–2026 academic year, NSA students completed 234 AP Exams across 20 subjects, earning a score of 3 or higher on more than 81% of exams taken. More than half of all exams earned a score of 4 or 5 on the College Board's five-point scale. These results, achieved across disciplines ranging from English and history to mathematics, science and computer science, reflect both the accomplishments of our students and the strong academic foundation and preparation that support them throughout their Upper School experience.

Each year, the College Board recognizes students who demonstrate exceptional achievement on multiple AP Exams through its AP Scholar Awards. Students can earn recognition at three levels based on their AP Exam performance, and these distinctions can be included on college applications and resumes. Honorees are listed below by distinction.
