While the TI-89 and TI-Nspire are trendy calculators, they run on different operating systems and are not compatible with the TI-83 and 84 series calculators. At least for the next few years, teachers will continue to tailor instruction to the TI-83 and TI-84 series calculators. Students enrolled in courses listed below who use a calculator other than a TI-83 or TI-84 will be responsible for learning how it operates.
