The Upper School student body at Nansemond-Suffolk Academy consists of students in grades 8 through 12. Academic, personal, and college guidance are the hallmarks of the Upper School experience. College counselors carefully chart the course that culminates in a most appropriate choice and college acceptance for 100% of NSA's seniors.

School spirit reveals itself in various activities. Whether in the arts, athletics, community service, student government or a club, every student can find a rewarding niche in the Upper School. The ultimate goal is for each Upper School student to reach his or her potential: academically, physically, emotionally, socially, morally, and creatively.
