- An assignment given the day before a student is absent will be due the day the student returns. The student will be expected to do all the homework assigned during an absence.
- If a student is at school at any time during the school day but misses a class, the student will be held responsible for the assignment. If an evaluation is scheduled for the next day, the student will be expected to take it. It is the student's responsibility to see the teacher before leaving school or after returning to school.
- If a student has one all-day unplanned absence, the student will have two school days in which to make up the work. If the student has a two-day unplanned absence, the student will have four school days. For longer absences arrangements will be made.
- It will be to the student's advantage to take an impending evaluation before a planned absence, but, if this cannot be arranged, you should be prepared to take it as soon as possible after you return.
- Each department may establish penalties for late work.
- Teachers will give special consideration to unusual circumstances.
