Student Announcements:

  1. Congratulations to Mrs. Carrie Swatsworth-Estes for receiving the Lower School Yearbook Dedication..
  2. Any student that will be absent during trimester exams MUST see Mrs. Kincaid in the front office to make arrangements to reschedule their exams
  3. Attention Senior – See Mrs. Johnson in the front office if you wish to purchase additional Graduation Announcements.
  4. Volunteer Camp Counselors are needed for MDA (Muscular Dystrophy Association) Summer Camp in Wakefield, VA. See Mrs. Snow for information.
  5. Yearbook Yard Sale - The Scroll 2007 (Celebrate Life), 2006 (Life Between Summers) and 2005 (How We Moove) are on sale for $25 – less than half price!! See any yearbook staff member to purchase yours, or purchase one from Mrs. Capron during break.
  6. The 2008 Portfolio Art and Photography students raised $726.50 for the Suffolk Red Cross. Thank to all for your support!
  7. A big thank you to all the faculty, staff and students who contributed to the Bake Sale. Your donations of baked goods as well as your time and talent are so appreciated! Our NSA community effort raised over $960 for tornado relief. With a few more checks coming in, we hope to reach the $1,000 mark. Thanks, also, to the giving students who worked the Bake Sale! You're the best!

Sports Announcements

  1. All student athletes please turn in your uniforms to your coach with the exception of JV Boys Lacrosse please give to the Athletic Director.
  2. Due to scheduling conflicts the time and location have changed for Physical's on Monday. 6th, 7th, and 8th graders should report to the Upper School Gym after school and 9th 10th and 11th graders should report at 4:15. Please see the school nurse to have your BP taken to reduce wait time. The cost will be $15 and funds will be directed to our sports medicine program at NSA.
  3. Golf team, please return bags to the Athletic Director's office as soon as possible.

Sergeant Isaac Palomarez; 26; United States Army - died of wounds suffered from an improvised explosive device, small arms fire, and a rocket propelled grenade launcher on May 9th, 2008.
