United States History Blogging Instruction Sheet

Step 1:
To create a post in Blogger, open Firefox. Go to http://www.blogger.com.
The screen should look like the one below.

Step 2:
Sign in to Blogger.
Your user name is: nsahistory@gmail.com
**You must use the full gmail address for your user name
Your password is: nsahist0ry
**note that a zero is used in place of the "o" is history

Step 3:
The screen should look like the one below. On the Dashboard, click on
+ New Post in the white window titled "Manage Your Blogs” (Note: You are not creating a blog. The blog, Generation Me, has already been created for you.)

Step 4:
How to post:
Type in a title for your post. Write your review of Generation Me. You must place your first name and last initial at the end of the review so I can identify you.

Click on the Publish Post tab to place your review on the blog. You should see "Your blog post published successfully! "

Step 5:
Click on View Blog to double check to see if your blog is published. (If you want to view the blog at any time, go to http://www.nsagenerationme.blogspot.com)

Step 6:
To comment:
Go to: http://www.nsagenerationme.blogspot.com. Select a post that you would like to comment on. Click on comments to post your thoughts on the blog.
