The Lower School provides a challenging and innovative curriculum for students in Early School (pre-school) through the seventh grade. Teachers have an awareness and concern for individual needs in a program that encourages learning and creativity. The Lower School is a part of the larger NSA community and joint activities are planned throughout the year to encourage the cooperative efforts of Upper School students with those in the Lower School. Emphasis on the development of honor, responsibility, compassion and respect as desired character traits for every student is central to daily life in the Lower School.
