The Lower School Book Club is open to students in second grade through the seventh grade. The students meet once a month during the months of October, November, January, February, April, and May. All meetings take place after school from 3:00 - 4:00 p.m. Parents assist in providing light refreshments. There is a registration fee of $6.00. Each month the Book Club members read books from a different genre and are expected to complete a given activity that correlates with their reading selection. All new members of the Book Club receive a cap, and as they complete the monthly activities, the students receive genre patches to be displayed on their hats. Students and teachers enjoy coming to Book Club and sharing their love for reading.
