NSA Art Jones Memorial Golf Tournament

The 2008 Nansemond Suffolk Academy 13th Annual Art Jones Memorial Golf Tournament will be held on Wednesday, May 7, 2008.

The tournament will feature a shotgun start, Florida Best Ball format that will include a field of players and sponsors. In addition, the event will also feature a Helicopter Golf Ball Drop that includes a $1,000 first place prize and $500 second place prize. Mr. Dick Hanson, CEO of Bon Secours Hampton Roads Health System, will chair the event with the help and support of the Golf Committee. In a three-year period, Mr. Hanson has led his committee to break school records raising more than $66,000 in 2007. The tournament benefits the Athletic Program, the Thomas W. Johnson Gymnasium Renovation Fund and the Endowment Fund. The tournament was named after NSA’s first administrator, Arthur E. Jones, and is one of the many successful fundraising events held throughout the year.
