The Fleur-de-Lis Society, named for the school's signature emblem, salutes alumni, patrons, past patrons, grandparents, corporations, foundations and friends who provide leadership gifts to the Nansemond-Suffolk Academy Annual Fund. How Do I Become a Member?Donors qualify for membership by contributing $1,000 or more to the NSA Annual Fund during the fiscal year (July 1 - June 30). Why Should I Become a Member?By joining this prestigious society, you are demonstrating your belief in NSA and in turn helping NSA grow from a great to an extraordinary school. What Does the Annual Fund Support?Monies raised through the Annual Fund enable NSA to enrich the educational experience for our students. While tuition pays for all the basic expenses of operating the school, it is the Annual Fund that enables the school to provided the extras such as more cultural enrichment programs, technology, faculty training and instructional materials. Marking an unrestricted Annual Fund gift to NSA gives the school the greatest flexibility to direct funds to where they are needed most. What are the Recognition Levels and Opportunities? Each year NSA will host a special event to honor Fleur-de-Lis Society members. Additionally, members will be recognized in the school's publications, Fleur-de-Lis. Donors who have made cumulative gifts to NSA through the years totaling over $10,000 are recognized on our cumulative giving plaque in the Upper School foyer.
