On behalf of Nansemond-Suffolk Academy, we are pleased to offer the opportunity to apply for the NSA’s Founders Scholarships. These merit-based scholarships were established to honor the ideals of those who were instrumental in the foundation of NSA. The scholarships will be awarded to a select group of students who have an established record of academic and extracurricular accomplishment and who demonstrate the potential for continued academic achievement and school leadership.
For the 2013-2014 academic year, NSA will award scholarships of $2,000 per student, to selected new and current students in grades 9-12. Scholarships are renewable and recipients must maintain a B average or higher and receive passing grades in all courses. Recipients are expected to be deeply involved in the community of the school.
