Nansemond- Suffolk Academy Summer Programs provide a safe, fun, enriching, and educational summer experience for campers.

Kaleidoscope And Adventure Camps

New challenges arise as campers explore a different theme each week. While on campus, campers will participate in a variety of classes and activities. The classes may vary from week to week, depending on the weekly theme. Classes in music and drama, arts and crafts, board game competition and other activities will be offered. Campers leave campus one day each week in search of new adventures on a related field trip. Campers also have the opportunity to swim two afternoons a week.

Kaleidoscope and Adventure camps are open to rising kindergarten through rising seventh graders. Camp opens at 8:00 a.m. and closes at 3:00 p.m. Extended Care is offered until 6:00 p.m. each afternoon.

Specialty, Sports, and Academic Camps

Morning and afternoon Specialty, Sports, and Academic Camps offer campers a variety of opportunities. Sports camps include basketball, football, softball, lacrosse, volleyball, tennis, cheering, and soccer.  Specialty camps are offered in drama, art, dance, cooking, journalism, photography, and rocketry.  Academic camps offered math, physics, Latin, French, writing, study skills, and forensics.

Specialty camps are half-day camps.  Campers may choose to return to Kaleidoscope and Adventure Camp for the remainder of the day or take another specialty camp.
